Gift of Stock
A gift of long-term appreciate securities, either publicly traded or from a closely-held company, may provide you with greater tax advantages than a gift of cash. You may deduct the current fair market value as a charitable gift and completely avoid any capital gains tax on the appreciation. Tributes
Tributes are a wonderful way to honor a current or former missioner, family member or friend through a gift to VMM in their honor. Consider a tribute gift to VMM at life’s milestones -- birthdays, Mother’s/Father’s Day, anniversaries, Christmas, Easter or anytime! A note will be sent to your honoree to acknowledge your gift in their name. Please provide your honoree’s address, the type of and date of the special occasion and any personal notes that may be included in the acknowledgement letter.
Memorials
Memorials are a special gift to VMM given in memory of someone who has passed away. Memorials can be given following the death of a loved one, at the anniversary of their death, on their birthday, at holidays or anytime. A note will be sent to the family of the deceased to inform them of your gift.
